Dragonfly's Eyes Back to Small Creatures

  The Dragonfly has 5 eyes.

The 3 smallest eyes don't capture images, they only register light intensity.

It really sees with the other 2 eyes which are composed of about 30,000 receptors in a mosaic shape which send the information to the nervous centre which processes the images.

A Dragonfly captures  200 images per second, the human eye only 24.
