Feeding the Brain

 
     
  To obtain good results at school, the children must exercise their brain as much as possible. A good diet will help obtain this.  
     
  Fish is great for the memory. Don't forget to complete your kids diet with monoinsaturated fats (olive oil, nuts ...) and poliinsaturated (blue fish). The antioxidants which we can find in the fruit, specially red fruit and some vegetables are also necessary.  
     
  For the concentration, pasta is the best food. Low absorbing sugars are needed in each meal (rice, cereals, pasta, bread ...) IF they are wholemeal they will be doubly beneficial as they are rich in vitamin B, necessary for good academic results.  
     
  Beans are good for the brain agility. Mineral such as iron are also necessary (found in bean and red meats).
