  Frying the food usually increases the calories you are supplying the children and will contribute to overweight.  
     
  16% of children aged 6 -19 suffer from overweight.  
     
  Experts say that no more than one fried food should be supplied per meal, if you are preparing fried food for the first course you should avoid using any fried food in the main course.  
     
  Cooking in the oven is a lot better option as well as boiling or steaming.
