Insatiable Appetite

 
     
  When the kids go through a growth peak they usually need a larger ammount of calories to help this peak. This increase in appetite shouldn't worry us as long as the weight-height relationship is maintained.  
     
  Intense physical activity or sleeping less hours than necessary also increase the child's appetite. Sleeping less hours than necessary alters the hormones which control the fullness sensation which makes children eat more.
