Introducing Cereals

Doctors say that the later cereals are introduced into a child's diet there is less possibility of the child developing an allergy to gluten.

Baby food : cereals should be introduced when the child is 5 or 6 months old. First they should be introduced without gluten to avoid protein intolerance, from the age of 7 or 8 months we can give the child a mixture of cereals with and without gluten. If your child suffers from diarrhoea or doesn't gain weight then you should ask the doctor.

Bread and biscuits can be introduced after the age of 7 months.
