Purees

 
     
  Purees are a great source of nutrients for your kids and are easily prepared, they also contain a large amount of minerals and vitamins.  
     
  Try mixing potatoes with pumpkin or carrot to make a curious orange puree which is great to prevent them catching cold.  
     
  Mixing potatoes with beetroot or red cabbage will make a bright red puree which great to build up the body's defences as well as help them grow.  
     
  Mixing potatoes with sweet corn makes a great brain booster.
