When to Start with Dry Beans

Doctors recommend to introduce dry beans into the child's diet after the age of 12 months.

Initially it's better to offer them mashed up and in small quantities to avoid digestive problems.

Lentils and chick peas are hard to digest.

Once they are 18 months old you can start giving it to them whole, up to this age it is recommended only once or twice a week after the age of 2 they should eat dry beans about 2 to 3 times a week.
