  Yoghurts

Nowadays there are so many types of yoghurts in the supermarkets it can be quite confusing at times.

Yoghurts are a very complete food as it contains a large ammount of Calcium and Vitamin A. Except for low fat yoghurts they all contain a large ammount of saturated fats.

Those which are supplemented with cream are obviously creamier but they also contain a larger percentage of fats (to be taken into account if your child is overweight or suffers with cholesterol.

The Greek yoghurt has 4 times more fat than conventional yoghurts.

The nutritional value of yoghurts depends on the ammount of added sugar, if it contains pieces of fruit, marmalade or cereals.
