Cleaning Kid's Ears

Incorrect usage of ear cleaning instruments like cotton buds can lead to serious health problems.

We must take into account that a child's ear conduit is very delicate and they should be supervised whilst cleaning their ears.

Ear wax is made by some special glands and their function is to protect the eardrum as well as to protect the ear from infections.

Certain children produce a large ammount of wax and many parent try and clean it by using cotton buds or other objects. This many times doesn't clean them and simply pushes the wax further into the ear.

It's better to let the wax remove itself during the bath or shower or use a piece of lint to try and push it out, you should only use cotton buds to clear the outside of the ear.
