Careful with Internet Photos

Most teenagers today share photos of themselves through their mobile phone or through internet social networks. This is done in an innocent and in many ocasions as a way to improve their popyularity amongst their friends.

The problem arises when other people make use of these innocent photo. There are now many cases of teenagers who are being blackmailed with photos they have uploaded to the internet because they have appeared naked or in provocative postures. Old boyfriends, enemy classmates or even strangers are up to these blackmailing.

To avoid this parents are recommended to talk to their teenager sons and daughters regularly about these topics warning them of the dangers that publishing their photos could arise in the future. They must learn about privacy so they may understand the risk they are in.
